COOKS(Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef) for AIDA Cruises
GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting COOKS (Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef ) for AIDA Cruises' passenger vessels.

Junior Sous Chefs and Chefs de Partie should have the following competencies, educational background and professional experience:
- Diploma and completed apprenticeship as cook
- Practical work experience as Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant kitchen, at least 2 years. If possible, cruise line-experience;
- Practical work experience as Sous Chef in a 4 star hotel or restaurant kitchen, at least 4 years or long term experience in a higher position of classical kitchen hierarchy. If possible, cruise line-experience.
- Knowledge of USPH-rules and HACCP
- Excellent and intensive knowledge of products
- Competence/experience of leading a team
- Good knowledge of English
- Nautical & technical skills (basic IMO trainings & seaman's book);
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- To act and work independently at his posts;
- Quality and price conscious consumption (economical working methods) of food
- Controlling and giving of instructions for the creation of all food in his area;
- Controlling and realizing of the health & safety regulations and the environmental restrictions
- Compliance of budget restrictions in his area of accountability
