Executive Housekeeper for AIDA Cruises

Good Winds Marine Services is recruiting for AIDA Cruises, part of Carnival Maritime Group, Executive Housekeeper.

Responsibilities
Management and responsibility for the housekeeping department with the aim of ensuring the cleanliness and condition of the guest and crew areas
Responsible for the instruction, training and supervision of subordinate international employees
Regular inspection of the guest and crew areas
Responsible for inventory, material and equipment management as well as cost and budget control in the housekeeping area
Ensuring excellent guest satisfaction
Responsibility for the on-board laundry and uniforms
Monitoring compliance with safety, environmental and hygiene guidelines in the area of responsibility
Requirements:
Professional education in the area of hotel management and verifiable job and/or management experience in the upscale hotel business
Extensive experience in managing an international crew, ideally on cruise ships
Fluent in English, German language beneficial and a confident handling of MS Office
Technical understanding of Karcher, Homer, TIKOS, among others, desirable and ideally knowledge of HACCP or USPH
High quality awareness, sense of responsibility, convincing personality, confident demeanor and loyalty
