We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Marine Superintendent at XT Ships Management S.R.L.

Position: Marine Superintendent
Location: On-site, Constanta, Romania

Key Responsibilities

Vessel Operations:
- Daily monitoring of vessel schedules and performance, weather routing, and serving as a key point of contact for operational issues.

Compliance & Vetting:
- Preparing vessels for customer vetting and Port State inspections, ensuring adherence to national and international regulations, and maintaining the safety management system.

Safety & Incident Management:
- Promoting a strong safety culture, investigating incidents, and implementing preventative measures.

Audits & Inspections:
- Conducting shipboard inspections and audits to verify compliance and crew preparedness.

Communication & Reporting:
- Providing regular reports, communicating with various departments, and ensuring accurate documentation.

What We're Looking For:
- Minimum Chief Mate STCW Reg. II/2 Unlimited
- Minimum 2 years experience as Captain/Chief Officer on chemical tankers
- At least 1 year of experience working ashore as a Marine/Vetting Superintendent
- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
- 24/7 availability
- Excellent English language skills
