We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of IT Business Solutions Engineer at XT Ships Management S.R.L.
Position: IT Business Solutions Engineer
Location: On-site, Constanta, Romania
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure the company's ERP system (user creation, permissions, settings).
- Provide technical support for office and vessel users related to ERP issues.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript/TypeScript scripts and applications.
- Manage SharePoint 2013 and lead migration to SharePoint Online.
- Oversee basic maintenance and updates for the company's WordPress website.
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, Next.js, React).
- Strong IT operations knowledge (troubleshooting, workstation setup, help desk management).
- Basic system administration experience (Active Directory user management).
- Fluent English - both conversational and professional.
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
Good to Have (at least 3 of these):
- Maritime industry experience (ex-officer/engineer preferred).
- ERP system experience (user/admin side).
- Microsoft Azure knowledge.
- Microsoft SharePoint experience.
- Familiarity with WordPress.
