We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Crew Officer at XT Ships Management S.R.L.

Position: Crew Officer
Location: Constanta, Romania

Are you passionate about managing people in the maritime industry and ready to excel in a dynamic, multicultural environment? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Crew Officer to join our Crew Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all crew-related aspects for company vessels, ensuring compliance with company policies and OM matrix regulations.
- Plan and coordinate global crew changes efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure crew certificates comply with STCW, Flag, and company regulations.
- Monitor crew evaluations and performance, addressing areas of concern with the Crew Manager.
- Manage travel arrangements for seafarers and company superintendents.
- Manage and maintain crew personal files, training programs, and travel arrangements.
- Conduct vessel visits during port stays to meet and support onboard crew.
- Manage the yearly training program for the crew. Coordinate additional training if needed.
- Manage and approve travel expenses as per company policies.
- Approve disbursement accounts (DAs) and travel expenses in line with company policies.
- Conduct initial interviews with job applicants and brief new team members on crew policies.
- Maintain communication with crew during their shore periods to address personal events, illnesses, or injuries.
- Promote and implement a strong safety culture across the fleet to achieve HSSE objectives of zero accidents/incidents.

What We're Looking For:
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in office software.
- A marine background is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Commitment to 24/7 availability and readiness to work in a challenging environment.
