Position: Claims Handler Location: Constanta, Romania
Are you ready to navigate the dynamic world of insurance in the maritime industry? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join our Insurance Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as point of contact for insurers, handling queries, claims, and emergency situations. - Member of emergency response team. - Responsible for communication with Clubs, Underwriters and any relevant 3rd party. - Monitor and document incidents, ensuring all activities and costs are accurately recorded. - Manage claims in our ERP system, coordinating with insurers and ensuring timely resolution. - Review the invoice booking of the claims and check it is consisting of all known expenses, classify the invoices and confirm the supporting documents are in order. - Prepare claim statement and submit it to the insurer, follow all statements till funds have been received in our account, thereafter to close the claim. - Record in ERP system the different insurance policies and create POs for insurance related costs, be a part of the invoice approval chain. - Generate periodic reports for the insurance department.
What We're Looking For: - At least 3 years of relevant experience in a mid-to-large company or insurance firm. - Proficiency in office software and ERP systems; IT-minded candidates are a plus. - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. - A proactive team player with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage.
